Longer Bottom Time
Enriched air, also known as Nitrox is the favorite gas amongst deep divers: By adding oxygen to the breathing gas and reducing the nitrogen load in your body, you gain longer bottom times. A lower nitrogen load is especially desirable if you do several dives within one day for example on a liveaboard.
To get a nice picture during your dives, you can stay longer bottom time to enjoy underwater photo shooting.
You gain the biggest benefits from this course when combined with the SSI Deep Specialty or SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty. The nitrox course is land-based, and as such does not include dives unless combined with another course or fun dives.
On this course you will learn to use and analyze enriched air as a breathing gas, to plan your dive and dive your plan with nitrox, and understand how nitrox affects you beneath the surface.
