SSI OPEN WATER DIVER
Your first certification is a license to learn more! Performance-based, after this course you will have the knowledge and skills to plan and execute a dive to a maximum of 18 metres with a certified buddy.

The course includes academic sessions on the basic theory of diving, skill practice sessions, and four open water dives. The Open Water Diver course takes about three days, and then you can go on to gather more experience on fun dives or continue your education on our Specialty courses!

Our courses have a maximum of four students per instructor, and when conditions allow, you will do your practice on our home reef, Semporna! This way you can check out the multicolored reef fish when taking your first breaths underwater.
