SSI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course gives you a chance to sample various specialty courses if you haven’t found the ones you want to take. This course has 5 dives including a deep dive, which means that after this course you can dive down to a maximum of 30 meters.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course takes 2 days depending on the conditions and the dives allow to conduct by dive instructor. Based on 2 days; you shall learn how to dive deeper, trim a good buoyancy, experience how to manage NDL by dive computer at Sepanggar Island's dive site.
OUR RECOMMENDATION FOR YOUR SSI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE DIVES:
Deep Diving: This is mandatory for deep diving on Advanced Open Water course. Plan your dive and dive your plan, and you will be certified to dive to a maximum of 30 meters.
Perfect Buoyancy: Fine-tuning your buoyancy makes your dives more comfortable, easy and fun! Buoyancy control is the basis for all diving, better control means better dives.
Navigation: This is mandatory for underwater navigation on Advanced Open Water course. It's provides how to navigate with a compass, and how to apply natural navigation skills, estimate distances, navigate different search patterns, find your way to marking points, and be able to get back to the exit point.
Boat Diving: Learn the safety considerations, as diving this way often provides the easiest and most efficient access to dive sites, as well as opening up a world of magnificent reefs and wrecks.
Wreck Diving: Learn to plan and execute wreck dives safely. You´ll get acquainted with the basics of wreck diving.

We can’t recommend Like Scuba Center enough!!! I found it while searching for an Advance Adventurer course on our recent trip to KK, not only did the owner and best dive instructor, Ronald, accommodate our schedule, but really really helped me overcome my fear of diving in just two days. I started off as an Open Water freshie with only four dives, unable to control my buoyancy and was quite afraid of diving any deeper as a result. On day one, Ronald had one of his dive master, Ah Man, take us for a shore dive to gauge everyone’s abilities first, and then he spent the next 5 dives fine-tuning my buoyancy. In fact, Ronald spotted my weak point during his first observation, I was using fins that were too heavy for me so I couldn’t rest in perfect buoyancy, I had to keep kicking. Once he loaned me a different pair of fins and taught me the breathing techniques, I achieved near perfect buoyancy! We’re so incredibly happy with the service, the very chill Dreamer’s Island which is exclusively for Like Scuba Center students, and the toilet facilities on island were so clean.
